The Congregation of Pleasant Valley Lutheran Church will be collecting hygiene items to be distributed at the Lucas Area Food Pantry. Items to be collected include: tampons, pads, feminine wipes, incontinence products, deodorant, shaving cream and razors for both men and women. We welcome any donations of products or cash to purchase products.

In March the Pleasant Valley Lutheran Church Congregation members collected children's books to be donated to the United Way's Little Red Bookshelf located at the Open Door Cafe in the Lucas Community Center. Nearly 200 books were collected or purchased from funds donated by congregation members. The books were recently placed on the bookshelf to be distributed free to any child or family interested in selecting a book.

The House of Prayer at the Lucas Community Center will be open the 4th Thursday of each month at 7pm. Please stop in this Thursday to share your prayer requests.
